I am better described as a juggler...and alot of times I drop a ball or two
Im a mom to two wonderfully energetic children, a wife, and a business owner.
I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes a few years back and thought maybe I could make a few things to sell to help with my medical expenses. Believe me when I say I am fortunate...there are alot worse diseases and issues to have to deal with.
I love to make all sorts of things. I use a lot of recycled materials as well as new mediums. My creations are all handmade works of art in my mind...and sometimes I have sellers remorse. I love to sell them but I feel kinda sad when I place the tape on the envelope or box for the mailman.
When I first set up shop on Etsy I had no idea of how hard it was going to be to "get found." I also had no idea how much time was involved in housekeeping (my shop housekeeping of course) promoting, picture taking, tag changing, Tweeting, Facebooking, and then throw in all the rest like Google + Pinterest, Wanelo Weheartit etc. And then there is the PACKAGING and INVOICING after a sale. Sounds like I'm complaining but I'm really not. Im just tired and getting older by the minute.
Now that I am considered a veteran on Etsy - I still don't have all the answers. I think it is an ever changing world with loads of new internet traffic each minute. I look forward to each new customer and many returning. I hope my sales soar as high as my hopes.
